Two years ago I had cancer on my nose. The doctor did a procedure called Mohs. My cancer was quite deep, and I looked pretty rough for a couple of weeks. My doctor told me to keep Vaseline on it, until it was healed. It speed up the healing process, and lessened the scarring. You can not tell where the surgery was. So, for those who say it’s not good for the human body, I disagree. It certainly did wonders on my nose! I would recommend you use it on your cuts and abrasions. Unless you like scars.
It works perfectly on my dry skin. Used to have scaly skin under my eyes and cheeks. I apply this jelly every night before bedtime. Skin's smoother now!!
Here’s how each skin type works with Vaseline: *Oily skin* : proceed with caution. It’s easy to overdo it with oily skin and Vaseline, locking in sebum and creating pimples galore. Try to stick to the body instead of the face, and focus on very dry parts (like the feet). *Dry skin* : Vaseline was practically made for dry skin - its protective properties mixed with the way it locks in moisture can relieve discomfort from dry skin. *Sensitive skin* : since Vaseline is unscented, hypoallergenic, and free from artificial coloring, it shouldn’t irritate sensitive skin. However, you can always try a patch test. If petroleum products bother you, try an alternative moisturizer below. Be sure to keep it away from the face!

According to Dr. Denno, Petroleum jelly can create the illusion of moisturized, hydrated skin, all the while suffocating your pores. It’s water-repellent and not water-soluble, meaning it merely seals the barrier so that moisture does not leave the skin. So while you might feel the instant gratification of a softened surface, you’re actually drying out your pores by keeping out air and moisture. What’s more, the thick texture makes it difficult to cleanse from the skin, so never slather Vaseline on an unwashed face if you want to avoid breakouts. “It essentially seals in the dirt,” he said.

Place a sturdy rubber band around the closed fingers. Place wax paper under the glove on a cookie sheet & bake it for 10-15 mins. The glove will no longer be stiff. Wipe off the excess or leave it sit over nught then wipe it off with a paper towel. This can be done with any leather product.

Once used on a squeaky hotel door that was keeping me awake!. Worked a treat!
I use it under my eyes to address the eczema in that area.
I use petroleum jelly to break in new base/soft ball gloves. Generously coat the glove witj petroleum jelly. Turn ur oven on at 175-200. Close the glove as if u were holding a ball.
I always use petroleum jelly as a lip balm. Actual lip balms like carmex always seem to make my lips worse
I apply it on my face ?
is that correct ?
Thank you.
I am applying Vaseline to my lashes every night and they have grown long and thick. I am loving it
Woah i just brought one so I'm gonna give it a try! Thanks! 😉
I PUT IT ON MY WHOLE FACE ONCE IN AWHILE BEFORE BED TO KEEP THE WRINKLES AWAY
Does it work? I wondered if it clogs pores
